Good Maté combines yerba maté with our original living kombucha to form a fantastic energising beverage that is rich in flavour and filled with living probiotics.
What’s in Good Maté?
Brewed right here in Victoria, we combine only the finest of organic ingredients, which are:
- Organic yerba maté tea (brewed with Daylesford spring water) (75%).
- Organic kombucha (24%) (fermented from Daylesford spring water, sugar, green tea and kombucha culture).
- Organic lemon juice (<1%).
As ALWAYS, nothing nasty is done or added to our bevvies.
Like all of our booch brews, we use a solar-powered brewing process to deliver amazing beverages with an environmentally-friendly focus. Even this funky new label is STILL printed on 100% recycled paper with vegan ink.
What is Yerba Maté?
The beverage maté is somewhat similar to tea in being a caffeinated drink that you steep. You have probably seen it in its traditional form, prepared in a gourd container (with a stem), from which it is also drunk. A particular type of straw (called a bombilla) is placed in the maté gourd, allowing a person to drink it easily while filtering out leaf pieces. It’s traditionally consumed in the southern and central regions of South America. It’s also the National Beverage in Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. Today, tea-bag style infusions of maté are available in many places.
It creates a gentle buzz that gets you going.
